A favourite tour among many of our guests, this tour combines the best of biking and lake/river paddling. Ride to the most southern point of Alta Lake before either paddling around the lake or down the River of Golden Dreams. Once your paddling experience is done, jump back on a bike for final ride back to the village through the winding scenery of the valley trail. This tour is fun for everyone involved and can be catered to make it a challenge for the even the most adventuresome. Hiking

We have a number of great hikes to choose from. The ever-exciting waterfalls of Nairn, Alexander and Brandywine need to be seen to be believed and the Cheakamus Lake (Rainforest Walk) & Whistler Alpine tours provide some challenging hikes through amazing terrain. Easy, moderate or hard there is a bike tour for everyone no matter how experienced the rider is. Our highly experienced guides have a number of routes that range from easy, beautiful and scenic, to tough single track cross country rides that venture through ideal terrain with rivers and streams passing through them. by paddling the last section of the River of Golden
Dreams – a beautifully quiet portion of the river with
gentle flowing water. Then you will enter the
magnificent turquoise-coloured Green Lake. Paddle
across this stunning glacial lake to the Parkhurst site –
nicknamed Whistler’s Ghost Town. Here we will step
out of the boats and discover a forgotten, graffitied relic

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Zen, an employee who was born right into Whistler Eco Tours! 🌟 Since 2020, Zen has done various jobs throughout the company, but currently he is managing the boat tours and activities from Wayside Park. Born and raised in Whistler, he knows every corner of this beautiful place like the back of his hand. ⛰️

Zen’s passion for skiing and the great outdoors shines through in everything he does. This summer, he's soaking up the heat, enjoying the stunning water views, and sharing these experiences with everyone who joins our tours. His favorite? The Green Lake Adventure Paddle Tour – where the lush green waters and snow-capped peaks make every moment magical. 🌊✨

Zen loves connecting with our diverse team from around the globe and finds joy in the unique perspectives they bring. Outside of work, you might spot him hiking up or down a mountain, and back in the day you could have found him making music as a violinist busking at the Upper Village Farmers Market. 🎻

A versatile team member at Whistler Eco Tours who embodies passion for adventure and exceptional customer service. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Martin's journey with Whistler began over 19 winters ago, drawn to the area's stunning landscapes and endless recreational opportunities. Since COVID prompted his permanent move, Martin has been a pivotal part of the team for his third consecutive summer.

Martin's expertise spans across various roles at the company, from guiding MTB tours to assisting with rentals and bookings, ensuring every visitor's experience is seamless and enjoyable. His enthusiasm for mountain biking shines through, yet he also finds delight in the canoeing and kayaking tours on Whistler's pristine waters.

Outside of work, Martin embraces an active lifestyle, enjoying activities like mountain biking, tennis, swimming, and hiking. An intriguing fact about Martin is his background as an exceptional horseback rider and his academic achievement with a bachelor's degree.

Martin's dedication to customer satisfaction extends beyond his daily responsibilities, evident from his previous role as a supervisor during the 2010 Winter Olympics at Whistler's Olympic Village. His upbeat spirit is reflected in his music choice, with Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" or AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" being his go-to tracks for energizing moments.

Martin's commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests, combined with his deep love for Whistler's natural beauty, makes him an invaluable asset to the Whistler Eco Tours team. 🏔 Home: RJ has been calling Whistler home since November 2021, soaking in the serene mountain vibes for over 2.5 years now. What does RJ love most about Whistler? It's the perfect blend of accessibility to the city buzz and the cozy, small-town charm that has him hooked.
