At Ontario Winter Camping we are encouraging people to disconnect from the virtual world and reconnect with the natural world. Sleeping on a deep bed of aromatic evergreen boughs, guests are reminded of a vacation from yesteryear, reminiscent of a bygone era... a wood stove heats the yurt while guests fall asleep to the Coyotes howl and lonely call of the Great Horned Owl. I've been joking around about "when will a bear visit my dining yurt?"..... last night! pulled the ice box right out of the yurt! (he or she was a pretty tidy bear - didn't knock any thing over on his way to my nacho chip stash and deepfryer wok in the far end of the yurt - liked out the wok!)
