On thursday, 1st of August, we're celebrating the Swiss national day! All around Lauterbrunnen things are happening, be sure to ask at reception for more info. We have some traditional swiss music performers at the campsite. At 10pm the highlight of the evening is happening with a firework - especially well visible from us.

If you're planning to stay with us, be sure to arrive in time and take into consideration that there is a parade happening at 2pm.

Walk along the river "Weisse Lütschine" towards Stechelberg and make your way to the Trümmelbach waterfalls. There you'll find ten glacial water falls inside the mountain, made accessible by tunnel lift. Currently open daily from 9am until 5pm.

Our restaurant Weidstübli right next to reception offers a welcome change from the camping kitchen. You can enjoy delicious summer menu with salad bowls but also the classic Swiss specialities like Raclette, Rösti or Cheese Fondue.
