After 3 years of extreme attention to detail and constant nurturing, the club opened its doors to the public in 2000 and since then has hosted many prestigious professional and amateur tournaments and attracted worldwide media attention. The club has been won many awards and is consistently ranked in the Top 10 courses in China by respected magazines such as Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. The course offers the golfer a wide variety of challenges from demanding dog legs weaving thru wild and rugged sand dune terrain, the golfer will most certainly use each club in his bag. Like all great links courses, wind is most certainly a factor with holes positioned in all directions. The golfer must avoid the deep pot bunkers that guard the smoothly contoured greens if one is to post a good score. In recognition of Tiger Beach’s “links authenticity”, the club was chosen by world famous Carnoustie Golf Links to join into a sister club relationship, the first time such an invitation has been extended to any club.
