Today we went to one of our favorite places, Villa Vainilla a spice farm that is organic and biodynamic. While Maritza was getting our order of ground vanilla ready she gave us some healthy treats made by her hand. Cookies and chocolates where amazing. We will be back soon for some more real life connections and spices.

These bad boys are a special treat for our homie Chad Price to celebrate his existence and a belated birthday! He's just also the man, who is the mastermind behind Shade Time Artisan Hot Sauce Shade Time Artisan Hot Sauce You gotta get some if you haven't experienced them before! Honestly. I would call them a Healthy Sin, all natural and preservative free, spicy, unique and utterly crave worthy... Mmmm

These cookies are a special variation with a salted Lucuma caramel chocolate ganache fudge on top! They were especially fun to make and quality test

Not the best photo, and we went a little mad with the coconut shreds on top :S HOWEVER, we were informed that this pie was a new obsession :).

This Healthy Sin was created for the lovely Daneri who is the master mind and creator of our logo! Her work ethic was a driving force for us and her creativity and artistry is unprecedented. Those of you who frequent Jaco or are residents there, have seen her work in many of our favourite establishments.

Honestly, anyone in the area looking for a graphic designer with an easy going but hard working mentality, Daneri is your girl ;)

This pie is one of the favorites of Healthy Sin's co-founder Adachi. Tweaked, altered and adapted to her personal liking, she couldn't wait to re-create and share the magic that is the Suenos de Chocolate. Creamy, rich, sweet yet salty with a vibrant local mora berry chia compote and salted caramel ganache chocolate to garnish every slice.

The presentation needs work, but the flavour and health is definitely there. This favourite creation was the obvious pie to make for Daneri to thank her for being a part of our business journey!

We are super excited some of our desserts and treats can now be found at Side Street Bistro !! Enjoy our Choco Chunk Mesquite Cookies, Blondie Bliss Balls and Sweet n' Salty Clusters :)

These are SO great pre or post their FREE 9:00 am yoga on Sundays or for an after lunch/dinner treat to take home or, have right there enjoying their open and fresh ambiance.

One of our favorites at Side Street Bistro is the Portobello burger on their gluten free bread... We would consider it a Healthy Sin ;)

What are your favorites? Let us know and perhaps we'll branch out from our usual! Just keep in mind we really enjoy our veggies and lean more toward the vegetarian and vegan fare

We're baaaaaackkk!!! After a month and a bit of slow production, we are back kicking it up a notch and doubling recipes!
