One of the closest beaches to Casa Tropical is the beach in Uvita, know as The Whale Tail At Marino Ballena National Park.
This giant rock and sand formation not only has the distinct shape of a whale’s tail, but is located in the exact spot where hundreds of humpback whales congregate each year.
It is a MUST SEE when staying at Casa Tropical.

First off, this house was beyond clean. They really paid attention to all of the details. The kitchen was well stocked and ready to whip up dinner! The breeze through the house was spectacular and the rooms were cool for sleeping at night. The back patio and pool was the favorite hangout for the kids. My favorite part of the house was the surrounding property. You could go on amazing hikes right out the back door. The wildlife was all around us. Thanks for sharing this property with us. We had an unforgettable vacation!

A lot of pineapples are ready to eat at Casa Tropical! The on-site care taker and gardner Jorge picked some today and they very sweet and juicy 🤤
The next several weeks there will be enough pineapple for the whole Tierra Verde community! 🍍🍍🍍

Casa Tropical was absolutely amazing. The house is far better in person than in pictures. Yougethere property management is the best I have ever worked with. They met us in Uvita, drove us to the house, gave a detailed walk through, helped with the best local spots, and even booked our zip line & waterfall tours for us. The house is flawless from top to bottom. The view from the ocean is amazing & you can hear the waves crashing off in the distance. Make sure to book a 4wd vehicle for the roads. There is a caregiver Jorge who lives in a separate house on the property, and tends to the gardens. He was wonderful. We saw toucans and howler monkeys in the trees. The house is just minutes to the beach, but safely tucked up a hill with its own private gate. I highly recommend staying here when in Costa Rica.
