ports, cycling, hiking and fishing. The villa is well arranged, offering spacious modern accommodation, bedroom balconies and fully furnished with a modern, exquisite style. You will find a tempting 10m x 5m PRIVATE HEATED swimming pool surrounded in the garden, parasols and sun beds. During the cooler Winter months the villa has proper underfloor heating avaliable for use provided free of charge (Dec-Mid March). Managed by local agents who go to great lengths to ensure all guests are looked after, as is confirmed by all the trip advisor reviews, the highest of any similar sized villa in the Polis area. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away and the picturesque fishing harbour of Latchi with its famous restaurants a 5 min walk. At night you can sit and relax in the local beach bar, enjoy the music, and even take a midnight swim and return to the bar ! Charming Polis is a 5 min drive with its wide range of taverns and restaurants, many situated around the paved town square. And of course the legendary Baths of Aphrodite are only 4.0 km away.

Wow, my fantastic gardeners certainly gave the palm trees a good grade 0 this morning. Also we have fibre optic internet coming around Mid July for much faster internet. This means I can now upgrade the TV for better pictures. But for next season. 😃

An update on the veranda. The pre fabricated stairs were delivered and installed today after some earlier issue at weekend when the crane that came to put it in place wasn’t quite big enough to do the job. We can now proceed with the safety railings, flooring etc up on the roof.

Thought I’d update on the rooftop veranda. From my little sketches 😂 to C.D.I. of the stair case, the work is slowly coming together. Downstairs patio done now awaiting the staircase and up onto the roof to complete, weather permitting end of February.

Finally I have agreed to build a rooftop veranda for next season. The ground area here will be crazy paved in the same way we have done the front path and drive. A spiral staircase will go to the roof to where we will put laminated wooden flooring down and safety barriers. We will erect a pergola and have some lights and put some furniture up there. Absolutely stunning views up there, the picture here does not do it justice.

The work should start 1st week of January and take 4 weeks.

We have had another record year, 29 weeks. We have most of November free and November is still a nice month in Cyprus so if anyone is interested please let me know. The new pool heater certainly made a difference this year an we will be turning it on tomorrow for the the rest of October and November. Already 13 weeks for next year so if you want to book do let me know. Booking directly with me saves on commission costs for both of us. Thanks for reading.

New ice cream parlour outside Porto Latchi which opened yesterday and a new open air gym, public tennis court and cycle way to Polis recently built adds to some of the things to do here.

New pool heater delivered today to replace the old one that had a fault and couldn’t be repaired. The new one is much smaller, more economical and amazingly silent that will heat the pool during the cooler periods of the year.

Twin bedroom got new state of the art mattresses last week. I could have had the old ones taken away but instead had a better use for them. There is a stray dog at a villa nearby that has never been occupied called Lucky. The neighbours and even some of our guests spoil him. So my turn to help him out and as you can see he badly needed a new bed so the old mattresses, still in good nick are his new bed. Lucky really was Lucky this week if you excuse the pun 😄😄

Bad news, the rain in Cyprus has been heavy the last week. BUT, the farmers badly needed the rain after a dry Winter. Thankfully from today should improve drastically. We have 26 weeks already for this years tourist season (March to October) with just a few weeks in May and 1 week in October left. November still free and that month is still a nice one.

So if you are wanting to book, please don’t wait.

A huge Thankyou to all my wonderful new guests and all the returning guests who have made this year such a success. I got 29 weeks which was a record year. Thankyou for putting your trust in me to deliver on my promise to deliver a safe and fabulous villa that hopefully made your vacation a memorable one.

We made a lot of improvements this and last year to the villa and are already continuing for next year to include a new roof top veranda as well as a few other things, making sure everything works ahead of what is already looking like another busy year. These changes will continue each year for the foreseeable future.

So it just goes for me to say Merry Xmas to everyone, stay safe and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

In the end I had a tremendous season given what we were facing back in Winter. I got 26 weeks with 1 more guest in mid November for a month. 2022 already looking very busy and with many new things to equip the villa. Here are some little Flower arrangement from my last guests from Poland.

Oh if you thought Summer ends out here at the end of October, think again. Next weeks forecast is 28-30c from Thursday for at least 4 days. Ciao

March weather in Cyprus 😢😢

Bad news, the rain in Cyprus has been heavy the last week. BUT, the farmers badly needed the rain after a dry Winter. Thankfully from today should improve drastically. We have 26 weeks already for this years tourist season (March to October) with just a few weeks in May and 1 week in October left. November still free and that month is still a nice one.
