Από την 2α Απριλίου 2025, όλοι οι πολίτες της ΕΕ, συμπεριλαμβανομένων των Κυπρίων, θα χρειάζονται άδεια ταξιδιού (ETA) ή eVisa για να ταξιδέψουν στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Η αίτηση θα γίνεται ηλεκτρονικά και η βίζα θα κοστίζει 11 ευρώ με διάρκεια δύο ετών. Η παραμονή στο ΗΒ θα περιορίζεται σε 60 ημέρες ανά επίσκεψη. Εξαιρούνται οι κάτοχοι βρετανικής υπηκοότητας, μόνιμοι κάτοικοι και φοιτητές. Η υποβολή αιτήσεων θα ξεκινήσει στις 5 Μαρτίου 2025. Παρόμοιο μέτρο αναμένεται να εφαρμοστεί και για τους πολίτες του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου στην ΕΕ.
