I can offer you my teaching services: English and Spanish lessons online. Translations from Czech/ English to Spanish. I can also teach you literature, I hold both university degrees (5 years each) and have experience teaching both languages and literature. I have taught at diverse universities, secondary schools and State Language Schools. I am now away from Prague against my will, because of gentrification, low salaries, flat rentals speculation, etc, etc. As many other teachers in Czech Republic and other countries I had to work as a tour guide to get enough money to pay the rent and live because of the low salaries teachers get there. This side job can be interesting and nice sometimes, very hard others, when you have had too many lessons/ tours. But most of the time teachers do this (and other side jobs, not just translations and interpreting), just to get the necessary extra money to compensate too low salaries there.
I am a native. qualified, experienced teacher, not an adventurer. I am not one of those "adventurers" who teach to pay their travelling around (that doesn´t mean those people cannot sometimes offer funny& interesting language lessons too, my respect for them just don´t get the wrong idea, please, but those are not real teachers, but travelers trying their luck/getting some extrapocket moeny).
((Like many other native Spanish teachers, If I had had the right connections in Spanish embassy I could have stayed there doing my job for a decent salary but I did not have those connections. I took the trouble to learn the language but you need connections to get good paid jobs, at least that was my experience with our embassy in Czech Republic. I do wish things had changed and they proved me wrong, regarding Instituto Cervantes and international programs, Cámara de Comercio, etc...)))
