DLG - A iconic project
One of our iconic projects this year is the DLG headquarter.
A beautiful site with an office designed for one of Europe's largest agribusiness companies, owned by Danish farmers.
Nature and agriculture is at the essence of DLG’s identity, and we have interpreted this in the building form, natural materials with crafted details and green roof. Tall windows frame panoramic vistas over the breathtaking surroundings, and landscaped paths enable employees to have walk-and-talks and enjoy the outdoors . Altogether, it makes for a unique, healthy and uplifting work life experience.
Søren Mølbak, CEO and Partner at PLH Arkitekter, elaborates:
”It was clear to me that we had succeeded with this project, when a DLG employee commented that the floor in the foyer looked like the floor from a barn. This story tells me that we have captured the heart of the company identity in the building”

Skolen på Strandbouldevarden - Learning through movement
Did you know that PLH Arkitekter has created a school- and learning concept named ’learning through movement’?
The concept focuses on the creation of a challenging and stimulating physical environment – inside and outside. The concept was created as a renovation project of Strandbouldevarden School located in Østerbro, Copenhagen. Part of the concept-design included a new sport hall, a demanding and fun playground and much more.
Strandbouldevarden School is an interesting project, as the school consists of multiple buildings, which create a feeling of being in a city within a city.
