🚴‍♀️ Our red Norden bike has been on a little solo adventure, exploring some of Copenhagen’s most iconic spots—because who says bikes can’t have fun too? 😉

First up, it found a cozy corner in the courtyard of Copenhagen City Hall, enjoying the stunning architecture and soaking in the city’s vibe from a hidden spot! 🏛️

Next, it pedaled over to Assistens Kirkegård in Nørrebro, basking in the sun among the history and charm of famous graves like Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard. 🚲☀️

And finally, a stylish stop at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, where art meets tranquility in the museum’s stunning gardens. 🎨🌿

Our guides captured some epic moments at the Gefion Fountain in Copenhagen last Thursday! 🌊✨ In a one-day-only spectacle, some creative medical students dressed up as gods and posed right in the fountain as a fun kickoff for the new academic year. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

🌟 Last week our tropical team had the amazing Birgitte Dam Jensen teach us the art of storytelling! 📖

Storytelling is such an important skill for us to master. We took part in interactive exercises that encouraged us to ground ourselves, be confident and make eye contact 👀. We also focused on being mindful of every word to bring greater awareness to our stories.✨

FREE 3-hour bike tour: Discover Copenhagens’s coolest neighborhoods in the world: Nørrebro! 🚲

Tropical Bikes is hosting a free 3-hour bike tour (in English) on June 14th and June 21st starting at 14:30. These tours are all about discovering the diverse and colourful Nørrebro.

In this tour you will learn why Nørrebro was deemed one of the ‘coolest neighborhoods in the world’. You will, amongst other things, visit a time traveller’s grave, hear the backstory of a heart made of guns and cycle down the most frequented biking lane in town.

Job as Dutch and/or German speaking guides for bike tours

We need more guides for our daily bike tours in Dutch, German and English.

Prior knowledge of the history of Copenhagen and Denmark is appreciated, but not a necessity. We will train you.

The tours start every day between 9.30 and 11.00 as well as private tours at any time. You need to be able to work on week days as well as weekends.

The amount of hours pr. week varies and can be anywhere between 7 hours and 28 hours.

Dear German and Dutch speakers in Copenhagen!

We are looking for more German and Dutch tour guides, for bike tours in Copenhagen!

The job:
You will lead a group of German-speaking tourists through the city of Copenhagen (on bikes of course :)), and pass the highlights of the city. The tours will take 3 hours and usually start in the morning at 10:00 or in the afternoon at 14:00, every day of the week.

We expect you to be flexible, because we sometimes get last minute bookings. Of course you can let us know when you are available and when you are not. We expect you to be available for work between 10 and 15 hours a week.

If you have experience as a guide and have knowledge about the city it is a plus, but the most important thing is your enthusiasm about Copenhagen and being customer friendly. We will teach you the rest!

Early Christmas present – Free check-up for your bike

We offer you a free check-up for your bike. All we ask is for you to like our page.

Just come by our store with your bike and show on your phone that you ‘like’ us and we will give your bike some Christmas loving.

A check-up includes adjustment of the brakes and gear, tightening of the chain, lubrication and tightening of moving parts and more.

If you feel lonely without your bike, we will find a two-wheeled friend for you, for free, which will keep you happy until you get your best friend back.

The offer is valid until Sunday, Dec. 10.
