Stunning colors…

We visited the most accessible salt-lick in the Amazon of Ecuador, several Scarlet Macaws 🦜 came down to the floor of the forest to take minerals from the clay in order to detoxify their stomachs, such as stunning event full of color and nois… 🙈 🤩🇪🇨

Boat-billed Heron

It is a nocturnal bird, and breeds semicolonially in mangrove trees, laying two to four bluish-white eggs in a twig nest.

Boat-billed herons feed on small mammals, amphibians, annelids, molluscs, insects, crabs and shrimps.

Is a species of tropical bird found in swamps, riparian forests, and mangroves of the Amazon It is notable for having chicks that possess claws on two of their wing digits.

It is the only member of the genus Opisthocomus. The taxonomic position of this family has been greatly debated, and is still far from clear.

Black Anaconda
Eunectes murinus

They are in the largest family of snakes and they are found in the tropical South America. We were exploring the black water lake and we approached to the vegetation on the edge of the lake searching for caimans and anacondas then we had this gigantic surprise; a black anaconda 6 m. long (19ft).

Cloud Forest- Ecuador

Here some pics of our last trip to the west-slope of the Andes in Ecudor.. we had such as amazing time when we found those two toucans ( Plate-billed Mountain-Toucan & Crimson-rumped Toucanet)🥰🥳.

They cooperated for a long time with us📸 posing for our camaras, they seemed a bit vained in view the camaras 😀😅🥰

Meet Scarlet Macaw (Ara Macao) stunning bird in the Ecuadorian Amazon, we visited the clay licks and we had this amazing encounter🫢.

The macaws flight in pair, but when we visit the clay licks, we can appreciate his spectacular show, this time we counted 25 Scarlet Macaws.🦜.
It is an amazing display of calling and colors where the single ones court the couple😍.
