تبلغ مساحة متحف الغردقة، قرابة 10 آلاف متر بينها 3 الأف متر مساحة قاعة العرض المتحفي التي تعرض فيه القطع الآثرية، حيث تم وضع 2000 قطعة آثرية داخل المتحف من العصور المختلفة، من بينها الفرعونية، و الرومانية والقبطية والاسلامية، وتم تزويد المتحف بقطع ملكية من أسرة محمد علي.
