In an interview with Egyptian magazine; Enterprise, JJ Sleiffer, Hilton’s president for the Middle East, Africa and Turkey revealed plans to expand Hilton operations in Egypt to reach 27 properties from a current 14.

This coincides with the Madbouly government’s target to double the number of tourists to Egypt to 30 mn annually by 2028.

The Hilton brand has already introduced the Waldorf Astoria brand this spring with the opening of The Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis which has been in the works since 2018.

Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt’s coastal city located on the Red Sea, has been recognized with the AFASU Golden Award for being the Safest Touristic Destination globally. Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities recently unveiled the renovated visitor reception hall at the famous Kom Ombo Temple in Aswan. The updated facility includes modern amenities to accommodate increasing numbers of visitors. This project is in line with Egypt's plan to expand visitor capacity and improve ticketing at major archaeological sites and museums.

🌊🐋 Unveiling an Ancient Marvel: Paleontologists have made an extraordinary breakthrough! They have discovered an astounding whale species from the distant past. Meet Tutcetus Rayanensis, a miniature whale that roamed the ancient Egyptian seas around 41 million years ago. This remarkable creature, the smallest known basilosaurid whale ever found, was approximately 2.5 meters in length and weighed around 187 kilograms.

🦴🔍 The fossils, including a jaw, skull, and fragments of the spine, provided crucial insights. The study revealed that Tutcetus Rayanensis was a fully grown adult, as its skull and vertebrae had fused together, and its teeth were in their final stages.

The discovery of Tutcetus Rayanensis holds profound value as it stakes its claim as the tiniest known ancient marine mammal in existence.
