r flight tickets or use any other service that is available from Travelanco
Website Terms and Conditions
You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to create a binding legal obligation. You must have full legal responsibility to enter this agreement and use this website according to the terms and conditions outlined in the list below. You also agree that you bear the full responsibility legally and financially when you use the website (Except when your account is used by other parties including minors in your household). You agree to supervising and bearing the full responsibility of all the users of the website who use it under your name or account. You also undertake to ensure validity, accuracy and the completion of all information and data provided by you or your family members when using this site. As a condition of your use of Travelanco you warrant that you will not use the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You agree to abide by all applicable local laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your account or password. You cannot modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software or services obtained from or through Travelanco . You understand that any trademarks, logos and designs, are the sole property of the company and cannot be used without prior written consent. If you use this site in any way not supported by us, we will consider this a criminal offence and will claim compensation for damages. Supplier’s terms and conditions
When you buy any service from Travelanco, additional terms and conditions are added to the list of previous terms and conditions when your booking is confirmed and you’re hereby automatically entered in an agreement with the service that you chose. For example, all the services and cancellation policies that you agree to when you book, you are obligated to adhere to these rules and policies which are dictated by the chosen supplier. It should be known as well that in some cases where bookings may be rejected by the supplier, it’s possible to replace the service with a different service of the same nature, provided that the difference in price, if any, is paid, or the amount is refunded if the service is refused. Booking terms and conditions
You must make sure that all the names of the passengers in the reservation are correct, and that each name is written in the designated field. In case the name was spelled incorrectly or differently than how it’s written in the passport, we will cancel the flight and rebook again, taking into consideration price increase and fee changes if amendments were requested. When you complete the payment process, a voucher will be issued with your Travelanco booking reference number. The booking will then be considered valid and confirmed. Technical issues may sometimes occur resulting in the failed delivery of the voucher while deducting the booking amount. If this occurs, the user must call the call center before he tries to make another booking. Travelanco will not be responsible for the duplication of the booking and the client bears all financial losses. If the reservation is cancelled, our cancellation policy is applied. The company may also add service fees on the bookings that are made through the call center. Travelanco reserves the right to cancel any booking if an incorrect price was displayed since prices are updated regularly. The company also reserves the right to cancel any duplicated unpaid booking except those which the client has been notified of. All cancellation requests will incur service fees from Travelanco in addition to the supplier penalty. Travel Documents
Travelanco recommends that all clients should ensure that all accompanying passenger have valid passports and have obtained the required visas, vaccinations and insurance documents for their destination. The client should also note that some countries require filling a transit visa form or paying fees to cross to the destination country. Travelanco isn’t responsible for obtaining the visa for the client and the responsibility falls solely on the client. Usually obtaining a visa takes some time and therefore the client should apply for any visas before the traveling date with a sufficient period of time. Travelanco recommends that all clients should confirm with the destination country’s embassy or consulate that they have valid passports and obtained the required visa for their destination. The company will not be held responsible if your or any of the accompanying passengers do not have a valid visa or passport or do not get the required vaccinations or insurance. Important notice
As required by government regulations, the passport must be duly signed by passport holder. We, cannot undertake any examination of passengers' identities or travel documents when they book their tickets. A failure to travel with the correct documentation could result in the passenger being refused travel, entry to the country of their destination or stop-over, deportation or incarceration and in such circumstance(s) you will be solely responsible for any cost, loss or damage which you or we (or our agents or servants) incur. You are required to comply with all customs, immigration, visa and health certification. Travelers Details
If the booking details weren’t correct, Travelanco has the right to check the information and cancel the booking. The company also reserves the right to take legal action to protect its rights and in this case, additional fees may befall the client to compensate for the financial losses which include legal fees, direct and indirect damages which are caused by booking cancellation or bank account freezing. Special prices and promotions
Price quotations and changes in prices: Travelanco price quotes and fixed rates depend on the suppliers. If the prices or rates differed from the advertised rates, Travelanco notifies the clients of any modifications and the client can either accept the new price or cancel the booking without any additional fees. Any promotions published do not apply to bookings that have already been made. Travelanco reserves the right to modify prices for the required service due to exchange rates and taxations or any other reason without prior notification to customers. Travelanco is in no way responsible for any mistakes which may occur due to exchange rates or tax changes or increased demand from the supplier. Last minute bookings
International flight bookings booked within 4 hours of flight departure time fall under the last-minute bookings category. Domestic flight bookings booked within 3 hours of flight departure time falls under last minute category bookings. Customers booking last minute are solely responsible for boarding and completing the check-in process with the Airlines at the airport. Flight boarding for customers confirming last minute booking are completely based on airline discretion. Travelanco holds no responsibility in case airlines deny boarding to a customer, or if the customer misses the flight to re-protect, change or refund such bookings and must be adhered as per airline Fare Rules Policy for the ticket purchased. If the currency exchanger was available in the website, the following terms and conditions apply on price quotations in the various publicly available resources. The prices displayed are estimates and actual value may differ. Hotel Details
The information displayed on Travelanco is considered a description of the accommodation locations, facilities and services provided by the hotel’s supplier. The hotel category information, such as (stars and services provided by the hotel) is provided by the suppliers and hotels, whereas some hotels are rated according to customers’ reviews. Kindly note that the suppliers describe accommodation, facilities and services provided using differing terminology, (such as using deluxe room and double room to describe rooms with two separate beds) The extra bed provided in triple rooms is usually foldable. If you were not sure of the description provided on Travelanco, please contact Travelanco travel consultants who will answer your questions to the best of their ability. Sometimes, some of the facilities mentioned in the description will be withdrawn due to different reasons such as the weather, maintenance or absence of demand. If the suppliers advised Travelanco to make major edits on the description, we will notify the client as soon as possible. Some activities and facilities such as water sports may be unavailable during certain periods of the year and some facilities may require paying an additional fee, such as: TV, safety boxes, umbrellas. tennis courts, billiard tables and air conditioning. Some destinations are crowded during high seasons, and the client should be prepared for the possibility of noise. Please take this into consideration when you plan your trip. The duration of time from the place of accommodation to the airport mentioned on Travelanco is approximate and may vary according to circumstances. Early check-out: Some hotels may not agree to refund the remainder of the amount for the unused nights due to high seasons or high demand. This policy also applies to no-shows, the hotel then decides the imposed fees and whether to deduct a partial amount or the whole amount. Changing occupants’ names: some hotels do not accept changing occupants’ names while others do before 48 days prior the date of entry (and it depends entirely on the policy of the hotel in acceptance and rejection). Travelanco is not authorized to violate the hotel policy . Amendment policy: A supplier may request the payment of additional fees for amending the booking, the amount of which will differ according to the services. If the client requests to change the room (from single to double) or to change the check-in time and date or anything else, customer service should be contacted. Travelanco also recommends that when the client extends his stay, a new bill should be issued. Cancellation policy: Cancellation policy is subject to the rules and restrictions applied by the supplier and it has separate fees imposed by the supplier. The client should cancel his booking from the website by logging in to his account and requesting to cancel the booking, or by calling the call center. Room upgrade: The clients can upgrade the rooms they selected with Travelanco and pay the difference in price before a certain period of time determined by the supplier. The ability to upgrade is subject to availability and the company does not guarantee that the upgrade will happen upon arriving in the hotel. In this case, payment should be made to the hotel directly. The client does not have the right to claim a refund for non-refundable bookings unless in dire circumstances. The refund is subject to the supplier’s approval. General policies for Hotels
Each hotel is responsible for putting in place policies regarding children, check in and check-out, smoking and additional taxes and other particulars, and it is the customer’s responsibility to check these in advance of booking. Changing hotels
The supplier may have to cancel your reservation due to hotel overbooking, technical issues with the system, or in the occurrence of any force majeure event . In these cases, Travelanco will do everything it can to provide accommodation in a hotel in the same class and location. Airlines policy
Airlines carries passengers, carriage, and cargo internationally according to the internationals rules and regulations which were put in place by the regulating bodies. Cancellation and amending fees depend entirely on the carrier. Some airlines may impose class fees (economy, business and first class) each class differs in its cancellation policy and the fees resulting from the cancellation. Passengers on international flights from any country must be present at the airport three hours before the departure of the flight otherwise, the company is not responsible for any fees resulting therefrom. Passengers on domestic flights should be present in the airport prior to the departure of the plane by at least one hour and a half unless otherwise specified. In case the client is unable to be present at the airport in the specified time, he must contact Travelanco customer service to confirm the status of the flight and the consequences of not showing up on time. n case of baggage loss, the client should communicate with airport management or the airline directly since Travelanco is not responsible for baggage loss. If you select your seat through Travelanco , the company will not be responsible for any modifications made by the airline. Policies regarding the provision of accommodation for transit flights which last more than 6 hours differs from one airline to the other, and specific terms and conditions will be outlined in the airline’s policy. We would like to notify you that prices and services vary according to the flight class (first, business, economy) you can choose the preferred class from Travelanco . In case there was a conflict between the carrier’s conditions and Travelanco conditions, the carrier’s policy applies. Amendment and cancellation policies are subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier including partial and full refund. Name change: You cannot change or edit a name after the booking is confirmed, if you would like to amend a name after the booking is confirmed, you will have to make a new booking and pay the difference in price. Partial use of the ticket: If the client uses one part of a two-way ticket and asked to refund the unused ticket, the refund will be subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier. If the tickets were misused, the client does not have the right to claim a refund. Changing Airlines
Modifying flight timetables depends entirely on the terms and conditions outlined by the airline where cancellation of the trip or modifying the trip’s date is concerned. You will be notified in one of the methods of communications outlined in your booking, you’ll also be provided with alternative solutions or the ability to refund your money in case the airline permits this. If the client fails to see Travelanco notification, Travelanco will not be held responsible and the client will not have the right to claim any reimbursements. Special conditions for the suppliers’ policy
Some suppliers might impose special rules in their policies, we strongly advise that the client reads these rules before booking. Seat upgrade
The clients can upgrade their seats through Travelanco and pay the difference in price before the time of departure according to the airline rules. In case Travelanco wasn’t able to issue the upgrade, the payment is made directly to the airline office in the airport. Payment Methods
If the booking was made through the website, the client can pay by Visa, MasterCard, Bank Transfer, ValU, Aman & Masary. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection. We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in EGP (or any other agreed currencies). Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement. The Book now and pay later feature is available to selected hotels only through Travelanco and the feature is displayed next to the online payment option. For book now pay later bookings, if the customer does not pay the amount in the specified time, the booking will be cancelled automatically without additional fees. The hotel has the right to cancel any booking under any circumstance if the payment is incomplete. Refund Policy
When the client asks to refund his money, the company refunds the money after reviewing the supplier’s terms. Note that the method of refund will be the same as the method of payment. If the payment was made by credit card, the refund will be made in 48 business hours and the money goes through the bank in 7 days. Kindly note that the bank may delay the refund. If the payment was made by customer service, it takes 48 hours from our business days. If the refund is not received after the above period, please contact customer service or send a refund request to the company's email [email protected]. Complaints
Travelanco always seeks customer satisfaction and if our clients have any complaint, Travelanco will spare no effort to solve it. The client must first submit his complaint to [email protected], and Travelanco will contact the client at once. The complaint must be submitted by the person who was wronged personally or an authorized agent, providing that the complaint should be attached with the booking reference number and supported by evidence and proof and all other data concerning the complaint., otherwise, the complaint will be disregarded. Travelanco has the right to refuse handling a complaint if it wasn’t supported by proof, and to claim financial reimbursement. Privacy Policy
The laws of Egypt govern these terms and conditions. By accessing this website and using our services you consent to these terms and conditions and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts in all disputes arising out of such access. If any of these terms are deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed from these terms and the remaining terms will continue to apply. We are not a co-vendor of such products and services and thus, the client does not have the right to claim financial reimbursement. In the case that Travelanco ’s contract ends or the company ceases its activities, all the bookings made after will be refunded. Modifying the terms and conditions
The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes; however, customers are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. 3.3 Children: The Travel Services are not intended for the use by Children below the age of 18 years. For availing the services on Booking Platform by the children below 18 years, parental consent will be necessary.
4. How We Collect or Create Information
4.1 We may collect or obtain User Information about you: directly from you (e.g, when you visit our Booking Platform); in course of our relationship with you (e.ge, if you utilize travel services); when you make your Personal Information public (e.g., if you make a public post about us on social media); when you download, install or use any of our Services. We may also receive User Information about you from third parties (e.g., our travel affiliate partners.) We may also create User Information about you, such as records of your interactions with us. Travelanco is not responsible for Personal Information you volunteer about yourself in public areas of the Services. This Policy does not cover the practices of third parties who many provide information about you to Travelanco.
4.2 Creation of User Information. We may also create User Information about you, such as records of your interactions with us and details of your travel history, for internal administrative purposes and analysis. We may also combine data you have provided to us with data obtained from third parties such as social networks and other data collection entities.
5. Purposes for Which We May Process Your Information
We may process User Information for following purposes: providing the Services to you; communicating with you; providing advertising to you on the Services and Channels; Lead generation; analyzing your travel interest; observing user engagement and booking travel activities across Services and Channels; conducting surveys; managing our IT systems i.e. identification and mitigation of fraudulent activity; compliance with applicable law; and improving our Services
6. Direct Marketing
We may process your User Information to contact you via email, telephone, SMS or other methods of communication to provide you with information regarding our Services that may be of interest to you. We may send information to you regarding our Services, travel offers; upcoming promotions that may be of interest to you, using the contact details that you have provided to us and always in compliance with applicable law.

9.3 Travelanco may use third party advertising service companies for online behavioral advertising ("OBA") or otherwise, and perform related services when you use our Services. Often, these third party advertising companies employ cookies and other technologies to measure the effectiveness of website, app and to understand the booking behavior of the User. We also engage third party providers to assist with the segmentation of this data.
9.4 We may engage third party providers to assist with the collection, storage and segmentation of Online Data and the providers are required to maintain the confidentiality of this information. These third party providers may collect User Information from our Services for their own purposes, including but not limited to monitoring fraud around the web.
9.5 We may share your User Information with our partners such as your name, email, or other identifier. Our partners may also: (i) collect information directly from your device, such as your IP address, device ID, advertising ID, and information about your browser or operating system; (ii) combine User Information about you received from Travelanco with information about you from other sites or services; and (iii) place or recognise a unique cookie on your browser.

11. Data Security
11.1 We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your User Information. Please ensure that any Personal Information that you send to us is send securely.
11.2 In certain instances we may use Secure Sockets Layer encryption and/or transfer certain User Information in a non-human readable format to provide protection. However, we cannot guarantee there will not be a breach, and we are not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of any third parties.
11.3 Because the internet is an open system, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will implement reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us using the internet. 14. Data Retention
14.1 We take every reasonable steps to ensure that your User Information is only retained as long as they are needed. Online Data related to online behavioural advertising ("OBA") is kept by Travelanco for not more than 365 days after which it will expire, subject to certain conditions. However, the 365 days period may commence again if the same user subsequently visits or interacts with an ad, email, the Services or a Channel.
14.2 The criteria for determining the duration for which we will keep your User Information are as follows: we will retain copies of your User Information in a form that permits identification only for as long as is necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. Unless there is a specific legal requirement for us to keep the information, we plan to retain it for no longer than is necessary to fulfill a legitimate business need.
15. What Can I Do to Control My Information? You can directly take steps to unsubscribe to the newsletters that you receive from us. Please allow fifteen to thirty business days for change to take effect. On some services, pertaining to transactional communication, you may continue to receive emails as a part of the travel booking Service availed on the Booking Platform. 18. How this Privacy Policy May Change
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and all changes will be effective at the time we post them.
