Great news if you are traveling from Netherlands 🇳🇱
TRAVELLERS FROM EGYPT CAN KISS QUARANTINE GOODBYE WHEN THEY FLY TO THE NETHERLANDS
Travellers from Egypt into the Netherlands will no longer need to quarantine upon arrival, as confirmed by the EgyptianMinistry of Tourism and Antiquities وزارة السياحة والآثار .
With case numbers and hospital admissions down and the inoculation campaign well underway, Egypt appears to be on its way out of the third wave of COVID-19. Now the Dutch government is confident that quarantine restrictions can be lifted for both Egyptian nationals and those with a foreign nationality within Egypt. Let’s hope other countries follow suit because this summer heat is punishing.
It still won’t be seamless travel, though; anyone going into the Netherlands from Egypt will have to provide a negative PCR test upon arrival, or provide a certificate proving that they are fully vaccinated.
So, Mr. Border Officer Sir, welke kant op naar de coffeeshop?
