For the first time in history, the Hatshepsut Temple will be the exquisite stage on which my fashion show will be performed.โฃ
Having received this privileged authorization from the Egyptian Institutions is a source of pride for me. It also brings forth a sense of responsibility, respect and attention towards these sacred places.โโฃ

The celebration started with a dinner party in the Luxor Temple in the presence of 500 international figures, including artists, politicians and public figures.
A fashion show inspired by Egyptian civilization
The head of the Central Administration of Upper Egypt Antiquities, Mohamed Abdel Badie, told Al-Watan newspaper that a fashion show for Stefano Ricciโs latest designs had also been held.
Badie said that the show was inspired by Egyptian civilization, dominated by the golden color of gilded Pharaonic pieces, inscriptions of temples and the blue color of the Nile.
Models emerged from the dazzling sides of the temple, he added, amongst the statues of Queen Hatshepsut in the Osirian body to the catwalk.
The ceremony concluded with the operatic melodies of Italian multi-instrumentalist Andrea Bocelli.
Stefano Ricci then greeted the audience and thanked the Egyptian government for the warm reception and for facilitating the holding of the show, amidst a huge standing ovation.
โThe celebration was attended by more than 1,000 guests who came specially from all over the world in more than 30 chartered planes that landed at Luxor Airport,โ Badie said.
The show culminates the efforts of the government to promote cultural tourism, which started with the procession of the royal mummies and then the celebration of the opening of the Rams Road in 2021, he said.
The celebration will continue on Monday with a visit to the Temple of Habu and a number of archaeological tombs in the Valley of the Kings, including the tombs of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun and Nefertari.
