Master Taught in English at URV:
• Computer Security Engineering and Artificial Intelligence
• Dirección y Gestión de Empresas (MBA)
• Dirección y Gestión de Empresas (MBA)
• Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy
• Erasmus Mundus Master in Sustainable Catalysis (SuCat)
• International Markets
• International Master on Wine Tourism Innovation (WINTOUR)
• Nanoscience, Materials and Processes: Chemical Technology at the Frontier
• Nutrition and Metabolism
• Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design

Before beginning the process, you should decide which URV’s master’s degree you are most interested in. To do so, consult the master’s degree offer.
In the description of each master’s degree you will find information about content, professional opportunities and the various tracks that can be followed. Please contact the coordinator if you have any doubts.
Do you fulfil the entrance requirements?
Generally speaking, all students with an undergraduate degree or equivalent are eligible for admission to a master’s degree. If you did your undergraduate degree abroad, then this degree will be accepted for admission as long as it gives the holder the right to access postgraduate programmes in the country where it was issued. Each master’s degree may have other admission requirements (for example, command of languages or professional experience) which will be listed in the description.
If you are currently studying the final year of your bachelor's degree, you can apply to reserve a place on a master's programme. Then when you complete your bachelor's degree, you simply need to inform the Academic Management Service during the registration period.
Bridging courses
In some cases you may be required by the Master’s Degree Committee / Coordination to do some bridging courses: that is to say, subjects that will provide you with specific knowledge and prepare you to complete the master’s degree successfully.

You can pre-enrol for university master's degrees for the 2023-24 academic year from 1 March 2023. You can consult the calendars. To consult the specific academic calendar of each master’s degree programme, please check its website via the URV page of master's degree and postgraduate courses.

Before beginning the pre-enrolment, bear in mind the following:
• To pre-enrol you must pay a non-returnable fee of €30,21. This fee must be paid with a debit or credit card. Your pre-enrolment is only valid once you have paid this fee.
• Once you confirm your pre-enrollment, you will receive an e-mail with instructions to upload your access documentation through your on-line pre-enrolment area. The university will be closed during the month of August, so no emails or applications will be dealt with. All documentation uploaded to the document manager while the University is closed will be checked in September.
• If you are admitted in 1st or 2nd phase and you want to ensure that you get a place, you have to reserve it by making an advanced payment of €400 which will be discounted from the rest of your registration fees.
• If you pre-register in the 4th phase and live in a country which requires a visa to travel to Spain for you studies, you have to evaluate whether you can obtain this document in time to arrive before classes start. Not getting the visa is not a valid reason to annul your registration.

If you have studied at a foreign university:
You have to access online document manager and upload the following documents.
1. Spanish students: photocopy of a valid Spanish identity card.
2. Foreign students from a member state of the European Union: original and photocopy or an attested photocopy of their national identity document issued by their country, passport or Spanish residence (NIE) and which must not have expired.
3. Foreign students from a country outside the European Union: original and photocopy or an attested photocopy of their passport or Spanish residence card (NIE) which must not have expired.

If you are a foreign candidate and you have use other identity documents to pre-register but you must be aware that will need to present the officially required documents in order to complete the registration process and also when you request the issuance of your master's degree certificate.
4. Bachelor's degree that enables you to access the master's programme. If you do not have the certificate, you can present the receipt confirming that the issuance fee for the certificate have been paid.
If you are in the process of completing your studies, but you still do not have your bachelor's degree certificate, you can upload a document from your university confirming that you will finish your studies and will obtain your degree certificate. Please note that to register you must present your Bachelor's degree or the receipt confirming that the issuance fee for the certificate have been paid.
5. Academic transcript or European Diploma Supplement* listing the subjects studied, grades and number of hours/credits for each of them. It must also contain information about the grading system applied as well as the GPA.

6. Curriculum vitae

7. The specific documents required by each master's degree. Check the description of the master's degree to find out what the specific requirements are.
During the pre-enrolment process there is no need for the documents to be legalized or officially translated. Before you complete your enrolment, however, your documents must be legalized and translated, so you should consult the Requirements for foreign documents as soon as possible.
Once your application has received academic approval and you have been admitted you must present either the original versions and photocopies or attested photocopies of the previous documents (except the Personal Academic Transcript or the European Supplement and CV) to the Campus Secretariat for Academic Management.
In addition, documentation issued outside Spain must comply with certain translation and legalization requirements. Click here for more information on these requirements.
*The European Diploma Supplement (EDS) is a document issued by higher education institutions within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), that provides information about the grading system used for your university qualification and the access that your qualification provides to master's programmes. If your qualification has a EDS, you should present it because it speeds up the process of checking your admission documents by acting as both your academic transcript. Check which countries belong to the European Higher Education Area
Has your degree the Spanish equivalent certificate (homologación) by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport?
Homologation is the means by which the Spanish State officially recognizes higher education qualifications obtained in other countries. Therefore, if you have homologated your qualification, you must present the certificate of homologation, in addition to the other documentation required.

The URV is a public university, so the prices of the university master's degrees are set every year in June by the Catalan government.
• To calculate the full cost of registration, you must take into account the number of credits and add to this the administrative fees and the obligatory insurance policies, which are approximately €145.00.
• Generally, full-time registration is equivalent to 60 ECTS credits each academic year and part-time minimum credits a year to register is 18 ECTS or 12 ECTS for online master’s courses.
• A master’s degree of 90 or 120 ECTS takes more than one academic year to complete. For this reason, in the second year you have to register for any remaining credits (in most cases 30 or 60, respectively) and pay the fees and the mandatory insurance.
The price per credit set by the URV depend on the type of master’s degree and nationality of the student:
1. Masters that enable for the exercise of regulated professional activities or that have recommendations agreed by Council of Universities: €18.46. Thus, the cost of registering full-time for one academic year is €1,805 approx. Check the list of these Master’s Degrees.
2. Rest of Master’s Degrees:
• For students from member states of the European Union, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Andorra or resident in Spain: €27.27. Thus, the cost of registering full-time for one academic year is €1,805 approx. Check the list of these Master's Degrees.
• For the rest of students: €46.11. Thus, the cost of registering full-time for one academic year is €2,913. Check the list of these Master's Degrees.
See the exact cost of each type of ECTS and the economic items which are included in the enrolment.
The pre-enrolment fee is €30.21 (non-returnable), which is not discounted from the final cost of enrolment.
If you are required to do any bridging courses, remember that they count as extra credits, on top of the 60 ECTS, and should therefore be added to the total cost of the enrolment.
Students with foreign qualifications: In your first enrolment fee, you will be charged the Academic tax for university graduates from foreign education systems, set by the Catalan government at €218.15.
Payment of enrolment fees
• Generally speaking payment is made at the same time as you do the enrolment. However, there are other forms of payment that may help you to pay the fees more comfortably. See options for paying enrolment fees.
• Some students – for example, those from large families or who are handicapped – are exempted from paying enrolment fees:
