You decided to start working out in the gym?
Congratulations 💪🤩
Here are some tips to help you feel confident and stay motivated:
1. Have a Plan– Know what you’re doing before you walk in. It helps you feel focused, and you will have less risk for injuries.
2. Prioritize Form– It’s better to lift lighter with good form than heavy with bad technique.
3. Warm Up– 5-10 minutes of light cardio or mobility work will wake up your muscles.
4. Progress Slowly– Increase weights gradually to avoid burnout or injury.
5. Mix It Up– Combine strength, cardio, and stretching for balanced results.
6. Rest Between Sets– Give your muscles time to recover (30-90 seconds).
7. Be Consistent– Showing up regularly is more important than perfection.
8. Fuel Your Body– Eat well and drink water to support your workouts.
9. Ask for Help– Don’t be shy to ask a trainer for advice on form or exercises.
I can help you build a full program online or in person.
10. Celebrate Small Wins– Every workout is progress. Be proud of your effort!

A decade ago, I embarked on a journey to prioritize my health and fitness.
Today, at 44 years old, I’ve never felt stronger or more confident.
Through consistent strength training (and running), i move with more power, and have so much more energy.
Most importantly, this journey has shown me there’s always room for growth.
After learning the critical importance of weightlifting for women over 40, I no longer fear the barbell.
No matter your age or level, you can make progress and feel great.
Next week i have a few hours available for personal trainings in @energiefitnesssantcugat .
It can be your first step to change your life.
Who’s ready to get stronger with me?
