In Spain, the winter holidays are not over yet. The children have not received their big gifts yet. This will happen on January 6th, also known as Epiphany or the Day of the Three Wise Men, when the Three Wise Men bring gifts to the children.
January 6th, families will come together for lunch, enjoying traditional dishes and ending the meal with a special cake that contains a hidden bean and a figurine of a king.

Montserrat Mountain is just an hour away from Barcelona! A half-day tour will take you to this incredible mountain formation and the Benedictine monastery that has been standing for 1,000 years.
Be sure to include a visi to La Moreneta and listen to the boys' choir, and consider taking a ride on the Montserrat cable car or funicular to reach the tallest point. Don't forget to pack comfortable shoes for hiking!
