The morning has been quiet, but that it's normal in Barcelona.
Shops and cafes opened late - but that's because the city starts very late anyway. It's just how we are.
Las Ramblas is reopened hours after the Barcelona attack.
Residents walked dogs and curious tourists walked down the street.
Life seems to be going back very quickly to normality.

In its last opening day, Sunday , don't miss to go to "Hivermarket" . A market where you can buy the latest plants, trees , flowers and gardening objects that Hivernacle has to offer. All that remains has to sell, so few designers in the city have decided to contribute their bit to summon and dismiss public this space as it deserves . Thus was born the Hivermarket , where you can find objects designed in Barcelona, as illustrations , cosmetics , carpets and so on . Of course , there will also be food trucks and some surprises .

A CENTURY OF FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY

The starting point for this exhibition is the Museu del Disseny (Design Museum) fashion photography collection, which comprises a total of 464 images of different sizes produced by 38 photographers from 1903 to 2013.

Fashion photography was the main means used to promote fashion in the twentieth century, and can be regarded as just another element in the fashion system. These images are generally commissioned for publication in fashion magazines or for use in media campaigns by fashion brands, designers and companies.

The show will comprise seven sections or areas, each featuring a selection of photographs to illustrate the evolution and changing ways of understanding fashion photography. Distinction will include images by 38 photographers whose works are represented in the collection.

Christmas Market: Fira de Nadal at Sagrada Familia
This market runs around the gardens outside the Sagrada Familia.
It is specific to Christmas time, with a large percentage of the stalls selling Christmas trees, decorations and mistletoe. It is also a place to buy your Christmas Caga Tió- a log with a friendly face that is an important part of Catalan Christmas.
Don't miss The "caganer". It is a typical Catalan figure of the nativity scenes traditionally represented as a farmer with a typical Catalan hat and a pipe in the lips. It symbolizes luck and joy, and it is said that not to put it in the nativity scene brings misfortune. In fact, for many politicians, footballers and celebrities has become an honor to have their own "caganer" figure.

The centre of the Eixample district, on the Passeig de Gràcia, features some of Antoni Gaudí's most striking and best-known buildings. On the corner of Carrer Provença, stands the Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera, the Catalan for stone quarry, with its undulating forms reminiscent of the waves of the ocean. Further down the street is the Casa Batlló, a metaphor for the legend of Saint George and the dragon. From here you can follow Gaudí's footsteps to his key work, the Sagrada Família, an unfinished architectural compendium which has become the symbol of Barcelona.

But Gaudí's works don't end here. Park Güell is essential in order to understand the Gaudiesque interplay between nature and architecture. The gatehouses to the Güell Estate, near the Palau de Pedralbes, the crypt of the church in the Colònia Güell and the Palau Güell, on Carrer Nou de la Rambla, also bear the name of his main patron, Eusebi Güell.

The Casa Calvet, the magnificent Casa Vicens, and the Torres Bellesguard, are other examples of his work we can admire in Barcelona, as well as the less well-known convent school, the Col·legi de les Teresianes, a splendid building in the neighbourhood of Sarrià. Barcelona is Gaudí's city, the place where this world-renowned genius left his unique imprint.

Toda Barcelona está marcada por la huella de Gaudí, un ejemplo muy claro es la Sagrada Família, icono de la ciudad.
