Summer is well underway now and so far the temperatures up here looking out to the coast have been normal in the high 20Cs with just a few days at 30C.
The pool temperature is the same at 27C, peace and quiet prevails with just the sound of the cicadas!

It’s pool time at Casa Limones and Los Olivos with daytime temperatures in the mid to high 20Cs!
Guests are enjoying lazy days in the pool garden at their peaceful sun bed areas at either end of the large 8x4 meter pool.

Almond blossom time in Andalusia!

A few photos taken of the beautiful surrounding countryside of Casa Limones & Los Olivos cottages, the yellow flowers are the first wild flowers to bloom and cover fields in a blanket of yellow!

A sunny February day today with the midday temperature at 20C.
These views from Casa Limones and Los Olivos hilltop location of the almond trees in blossom and the sun reflecting on the sea 12km away, and in the opposite direction the olive grove hillsides and distant mountains!

JANUARY 2024 Happy New Year!

The first week in January with blue skies and sunshine at La Cala Beach 20 minutes away from Casa Limones and Los Olivos cottages. Pleasant winter sunshine walks along the beach or boardwalk which follows the coast for 6 km with views of Gibraltar and Morocco. Average daytime temperature 16C.

JULY 2023

While inland Spain is sweltering from temperatures around 40C, here at Casa Limones we have a cooling breeze coming up from the Mediterranean Sea keeping temperatures in the low 30Cs.
After a day around the pool with the water temperature of 30C the evenings are enjoyed with a balmy breeze carrying the fragrance of jasmine and rosemary to the sound of cicadas.

JUNE 2023

June here in Andalucia is one of the best months with daylight still at around 10pm at night!
Long lazy days spent around the pool followed by dinner on the terrace with spectacular views of the sun sinking slowly behind the distant mountains!

Spring has started in Andalucia here at Casa Limones and Los Olivos cottages with daytime temperatures of 25C, evenings around 18C with beautiful evening sunsets.
The pool is open for guests to enjoy lazy sunny days!

Every February the almond trees at the beginning of the lane to Casa Limones cottages never fail to delight!

Daytime temperatures are around 16C, with scenery like this, a clear blue sky and sunshine on the green countryside dappled with pink almond trees in blossom, it makes a perfect day for walking in the surrounding countryside!
