x at the beautiful Portals Vells beach and enjoy lunch on board! Meet your shore excursion crew after a short taxi ride from your Palma de Mallorca cruise port. They will get you all checked in and on the boat. Get settled in and enjoy the ride! The motorized catamaran is large and there is plenty of room on the two decks. The maximum capacity is 250 and the two hulls make for a smooth ride. Your boat would cruise across the bay and you can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of many highlights in Palma. Have your camera ready since you would have a lot of photo opportunities. You will be amazed by the gothic style of Palma's Cathedral, started to build in 1229 and finished 372 years later! See the Bellver Castle, also built in gothic style around the 14th century. You will also see the San Carlos Fortress very close to the cruise port area. As you continue cruising make sure to look for the Royal Palace of Marivent, Cala Major Beaches, Illetas, Palma Novo and more! Once the boat arrives at Malgrats marine area, your boat would anchor close to Cap Figueroa, if the weather permits. Then you would have 45 minutes to swim or snorkel. If you would rather, you can relax in the boat and admire the landscape. Then, your boat would head to the lovely Portals Vells beach. You would have 1 hour to explore the area by yourself. The beach is made of golden sand and crystal clear waters that invites you in for a cooling dip. You would find sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Relax on this idyllic beach or take a stroll, this is for you to have fun. After your time at the beach, you would board your boat and your friendly crew will offer you lunch consisting of 2 area delicious specialties - paella and ensaimada. Paella is a mix of rice, seafood and vegetables in a large pan. Ensaimada is a pasty from Mallorca. You would also have a variety of salads to choose from. Your lunch includes complimentary beverages (water and sangria) and one glass of champagne. Finally, it's time to head back to Palma while you listen to the guitar show. Kick back and enjoy your vacation day as the boat takes you back to the dock where you will catch a taxi back to your Palma cruise pier.
