Today, 23 June, the magic of fire and the sea come together on one of the most special nights of the year. The night of San Juan is one of the most eagerly awaited traditions of the year in Galicia, when the summer solstice is celebrated. On our way along the French Way, we enter La Rioja, known as the "Land of Wines". Here we can see the imposing church of Santiago el Real, next to which is the traditional large-scale Goose Game, whose squares are decorated with Jacobean motifs. This is no coincidence, as for many authors, this game is an allegory of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela. 🦢🎲

Today, our colleagues Iria, Sabela, Melisa and Chiara have lived a unique gastronomic experience in Salmoira. This place is dedicated to recovering the forgotten taste of salted seafood and fish from the Galician estuaries using sustainable techniques.

Located in the first floor of the old fishermen's guild of San Telmo, they are about to launch their first gastronomic experiences and events in early July. We are excited to see how this project will evolve and to be able to collaborate with them in the future!
