When visiting Addis Ababa, and if you are into football, we recommend attending a match of one of the local football teams. Ethiopians are among the most passionate football fans in the world, such a pleasure to be part of it!

This time we went to Ethiopia Buna football club, the official side of King Shiloh Sound System! They were lucky enough to be in town during the cup final. Unfortunately our side lost, but nevertheless an impressive experience!

We travel to Ethiopia frequently with Roots & Culture groups, soon you will be able to join. Keep following us!

We want to thank all that came out last saturday for our Nairobi chapter healing of the nations with King Shiloh Sound System the love was real and we noticed the so many talented vibrant artists that touched the mic. We look forward in having such sessions again. Much thanks to Umojah Sound System for such a lovely sound setup and co-operation to make this work. We massively thank the MALL management for giving we the space to execute this.

Roots & Culture Travel is a brand aimed at Community Based Tourism with Reggae and Rastafari related communities in different countries. Formally known as Travel, we offer organized package tours, customized programs for individuals and private groups, and we are involved in organizing music events. At the moment we are active in Ethiopia and Kenya, and we are looking to expand to other destinations soon.

Roots & Culture Travel is part of The Long Trail, an international social enterprise specializing in Community Based Tourism and Community development (www.thelongtrail.travel). Our representatives are Heran Tadesse (Ethiopia) and DjHeartical Murigi (Kenya).

Kenyans, we are happy to announce the healing of the nations is set to take place in Nairobi, Kilifi, Diani, Kwale.....with the international, independently operating, roots reggae & dub sound system King Shiloh Sound System featuring some of the kenya's greats Ruzira Lavosti and Rita Black Omolo. We have DjHeartical Murigi on set too as we get powered by Umojah Sound System.
