A great night for the Bale Mountains National Park at the Visit Oromia Tourism Awards 2021! Congratulations to all those working in the park who won awards!

Bale Mountains National Park (BMNP) was named Best Tourism Destination in Oromia and FZS Ethiopia, the Best NGO Actively Involved and Working in Tourism Destinations.

Ayuba Ahmed, Best Local Tour Guide and The Nyala Guides, Best Guide Association.

A special award of Best Resource Conservation Champion (Our Hero) was given in memory of Biniam Admasu, for his unfailing passion and dedication in protecting the Bale Mountains National Park.
