The 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Yesterday the World Heritage Committee has decided to register 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The Bale Mountains National Park in the Oromia region is the second largest natural heritage site in Ethiopia.

At the 45th World Heritage Conference, it was stated that Ethiopia was able to register two major tourist destinations as World Heritage Sites.
