Claire-Diane is a Quebecoise (French Canadian) native who has called Fiji her home for the past 20 years. Before crossing nearly 13,000 kilometres of land and ocean between Canada and the South Pacific, she lived in Montreal, completed an Executive MBA programme in Université Paris-Dauphine and Université du Québec à Montréal, and finished studies in Organisational Culture Management in Hawai’i P
acific University. She is a trained leadership facilitator and has extensive professional experience in business change management and intercultural management for over two decades. Not only is Claire-Diane in love with Fiji, she is also very passionate about the arts, and in 2009 she initiated the country’s first International Art Exhibition as well as represented Fiji at the Florence Biennale International Art Exhibition in Italy. She started Tokani Arts Agency where she represented local artists and owned a mobile art gallery for a number of years. Tokani in Fijian, means long lasting friendships and true genuine relationships that transcend time. It is the same philosophy that inspires Claire-Diane as a private guide. She aims to show visitors in Fiji more than the stunning natural scenery and pristine islands of the country, she hopes to share with them other sides of Fiji that makes it incredibly beautiful beyond the turquoise beaches and swaying palms. Claire-Diane would like to show you Fiji’s colourful history, happy people, its fascinating blend of multi-ethnic cultures, and diverse Oceanic Art - the Fiji that she knows and loves. Claire-Diane is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She is a certified Tour Manager through the International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) in San Francisco, USA and was recently appointed as the Honorary Consul of France in Nadi, Fiji.
