Berlin en lumière ! 🇩🇪 Ville culturelle avec son âme bien particulière, chacun y trouvera son compte. La capitale allemande a une histoire riche, une créativité sans fin et surtout d'innombrables lieux culturels 🏛 qui valent la peine d'être visités. On notera notamment le Staatsoper Unter den Linden dont la programmation de la saison 2024-2025 vient d'être publiée. 😁 Nous retrouverons deux nouvelles productions très attendues avec Anna Netrebko et son magnifique timbre de voix ✨dans Nabucco de Verdi et le talentueux ténor Juan Diego Florez dans Roméo et Juliette de Gounod.

Chaque année le Festival de Garsington 🇬🇧 propose pendant 9 semaines, du 29 mai au 31 juillet ☀️, dans le cadre extraordinaire de la campagne anglaise 🌿, des opéras de qualité. Au programme de cette édition : Platée de Rameau, Les Noces de Figaro de Mozart, Le Songe d'une nuit d'été de Britten, Un giorno di regno de Verdi et A Trip to the Moon, un opéra communautaire d'Andrew Norman 🎶. L’ambition du Festival est de faire découvrir des œuvres rares, avec des réalisations théâtrales, dans une ambiance chic 🤵🏻 et chaleureuse. L’entracte permet comme à Glyndebourne un pique-nique des plus agréables entre mélomanes 🥂🍰🍓.

Beautiful and charismatic Violetta 👏🤩

Dear friends,

This Sunday, February 25th, I'll be jumping in for a single performance of Violetta in LA TRAVIATA at the Opéra national de Paris! It's a matinee and I believe it may already be sold out, but I wanted to just let you all know that I'd be back in Paris at the Bastille for a whirlwind of a weekend! Luckily it's the Simon Stone production, which I just did a few months ago here in Wiener Staatsoper, and with colleagues whom I've sung Traviata with before many times! Alfredo is the phenomenal Rene Barbera, who was also the tenor in our Traviata recording, and Papa Germont is my dear friend, the legend, Ludovic Tézier. My trusted friend Maestro Sagripanti conducts. I feel very honored to join my colleagues for this last performance in what has been an amazing run for them.

🇮🇹 Today the official full program of the Verdi Festival 2024 was announced, it will take place from September 21 to October 20 🍁. For a month the city of Parma will live to the rhythm of the notes of its native composer 🎶. Three new productions have been announced: Macbeth, Un Ballo in Maschera and La Battaglia di Legnano.
