Started slowly but quite busy with cottage in July and August.
Strange year weather wise, very dry then lots of rain and then very hot. Going to be planting more bulbs, give a nice spring show. Cottage closed from October to April, although we are available to people wanting somewhere to stay whilst house hunting.

Hi people. Well we plan to re-open on 2nd February 2024. Everything will be ready to receive guests to this unspoilt part of France. We have been watching 100's of Cranes flying overhead returning to France and Spain for the winter stay. We see a great variety of birds here, so nice. Was a great year for poppies.

What a strange summer, started well but then everything thrown at us. Little more settled now. I'm out of hospital now and recuperating so the Cottage will be available from October. We usually have pretty nice weather then. Next year we should be back to normal.

Been so nice here but had to close until Sept as I have to go into hospital. Hope to see some new guests then.

Well it's super hot here, we have had the odd bout of rain though which has kept grass green. It's flagging now though. Holiday let available in September.

Although the Pandemic has us all alarmed and uncertain about the future we are still going to take bookings for next year with no deposit or cancellation fee for April, May & June.

This week we have seen a doe with her 2 babies, several seperate deer, 2 baby pigeons in the hazel nut tree getting ready to fly, and we have 3 great spotted woodpeckers still coming to the feeders. A young buzzard noisily harassing it's parents to feed it and many other birds.
