Today I learnt so much more about Paris, more than I expected and i wasn't even in Paris but in Bendigo, Victoria, yep in Australia! 🤣 @ the @bendigoartgallery and the temporary Paris Impressionist exhibition hosted by the Musee Carnavalet de Paris (the museum of Parisian history) Thanks to Bonjour Bendigo and the French festival happening in Bendigo until July!! It was amazing, and what i love about Paris is that there is ALWAYS MORE to learn, more history, more stories, more traditions, customs, and more places to discover... even after all these years and visiting Paris in person 12 times or more today i read and learnt about the oldest patisseries and parfumeries (its NOT the ones we've have been told about) which ill certainly be adding to my bespoke Paris itineraries, (order one today on the website), I learnt about what makes Montmartre the artists bohemian village that it is (Montmartre is my home in Paris Paris each year and its where I have 4 lovely B&Bs and apartments for you my dear guests) I learnt about the Fashions (adding some tips to the my vintage antique flea market shopping itinerary too), i learnt about the way the city operated and was built, and about the polarity between the lower middle and upper classes. This exhibition was but a snippet of the huge Musee Carnavalet in Paris which amazingly is right across the road from my beautiful B&B antonella in le Marais, and it is an absolute MUST- visit when in Paris (just book Antonellas B&B and walk across the rue the museum).
