Last Saturday, June 17th, proved to be a most enjoyable experience. Bentworth village held their first ever Literary Festival .Most inspirational. A diverse range of authors shared their work and experiences to a full hall. Well done to the organisers and Waterstone's of Alton and huge thanks for the authors who gave their time to support the event and encourage their audience.

Spent the afternoon reading through Arvon's 2015 Residential Writing Workshops. planning to do at least one this year. Like a sweet shop though... which to choose...?

Looking forward to tonight's final episode of BBC 2's "Secrets of the Castle" . This is all about the project down the road from us: Castle Guédelon. Must see destination for anyone passing through Burgundy. Closed for the season now until March 2015. Check http://www.guedelon.fr/en/

A team of 50 builders is constructing a castle using the same techniques and materials used in the Middle Ages.

Struggling to learn about how to use social networking to promote Chateau Workshops. I am under the impression that this page is free and accessible to those of you I have notified!!? I would dearly love your comments or or "likes" so i can see if it works. Thanks Dave for yesterday's. I'm also starting a blog!! but don't expect that to be up and running before Tuesday lol All advice welcome.
