The Ecotel Project Sustainable development / Sustainable Living / CSR & Ecology

The Ecotel Project consists of three life-cycles:

1. 1st life: material being used for its original conception: cans, PET bottles, etc...retrieved, cleaned, compacted, and recycled, transformed into construction material,

2. 2nd life: Housing: with an eye on ecology the raw materials coming from the recycling process are used to build the base, structure, roofing, insulation and furniture of the

high standard quality studio's combining assessed CO² impact in the logistics and outsourced local services,

3. 3rd life: Social Housing concept; extracted from the compound the materials are partly or integrally (entire studio) removed each year and reused after being transformed into buildings for local NGO's and social projects (dorms for streetchildren, classrooms, kitchens, protected workshops, ...)

Activity at the Ecotel Projects has picked up in a new project development...
the staff (exclusively constituted by volunteers investing their time & energy in the project) negotiated a partnership with the OTITI AGRI-TOURSTIC site on the banks of the Mbega river, just outside Port Gentil. 2023
