We are the largest and most active society of Aberdeen University, with an exciting and diverse mix of nights out combined with some amazing trips that produce memories which you will remember for years to come. We organise trips and social events for all years in the law school including:

🤔 AU LAW SOCIETIES ANNUAL QUIZ NIGHT 🤔

This Friday the law societies at Aberdeen are coming together to close off our charity week with a BANG!

Come along in your best thrifted outfits (bought specifically from local charity shops to support charities!) and put your brain to the test to see just how much you really know!

Whilst you are there… why not RUIN the chances of the law society presidents from winning any outfit based awards by throwing water balloons at them!

The entry fee and the purchase of water balloons will be direct donations to Charlie House which is our charity for this year! Charlie house is a children’s hospice working to support the quality of life of sick kids.

We can’t wait to see you guys there!

Meet us at The Triplekirks on the 22nd of November (this friday!) Dress code is anything bought from a charity shop.

Advance payments are recommended due to it being a limited capacity event. Find directions to how to sign up and rules for the night in the post.

🚶 WALK TO THE SUPREME COURT 🚶

Over the course of the weekX we will be tracking the total number of miles we walk in@hopes of reaching the Supreme Court, a distance of 550 miles. All of our miles will be combined to reach the goal by the end of the week. We’re doing this to raise funds for Charlie House. If you’d like to join in, you can find the GoFundMe link in our bio to share with your friends and family!

There will also be a prize for the most miles walked at the end of the week!

To kick start the event, we will be meeting at the Sir Duncan Rice Library on the 18th of November at 12pm and walk down to the beach boulevard together. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be available at the starting line.

FIRST YEARS 12:30 PM KINGS PITCHES

*rolling to the finish line like...* AND WE ARE FINISHED!!!!! Another amazing effort from the society this week, clocking up 168 miles and @ewan_rae completing a marathon in under four hours! That brings our grand total of 1112 miles - shall we just run back? 😂 We have well and truly reached our destination of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg - amazing effort from everyone involved!! We have also SMASHED our fundraising goal of £500 for @samhscotland - there is still time to donate by following the link below!
