Crabtree & Crabtree
As Britain tentatively begins to anticipate the return of the staycation, we were thrilled with a busy weekend of Crabtree & Crabtree press coverage.
✨ Our three Shepherd’s Huts – Teasel, Cow Parsley and Foxglove – were featured in Telegraph Travel's feature on 10 of the best family activity breaks. “Reconnect again in Northumberland. Continue the family bonding born of lockdown with a break encouraging all generations to reconnect with the outdoors…”
✨ Coastal Artist’s Cottage featured in The Times and The Sunday Times pick of the 30 best British bolt holes. “Where to go and where to stay after lockdown – these UK retreats offer pure escapism. A wood-burning stove in the huge inglenook fireplace beckons after windswept walks along the coast, which – from here to Holy Island – offers a mix of cliff walks and castles, crab shacks and dune-backed beaches.”
✨ Sunday Times Travel featured Aikwood Tower in Chris Haslam’s pick of classic UK breaks for summer holidays. “You need a big house for a post-lockdown family gathering, and Aikwood Tower, near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders, is certainly that.”
✨ Scotland on Sunday printed a three-page spread on The Coach House, a “captivating cottage” situated in the sublime Pentland Hills Regional Park on the outskirts of Edinburgh. With a calming, neutral interior and sublime hill walking and outdoor adventures on the doorstep, we’re certain this will be a popular choice for post-lockdown retreats.
