Thanks for your support and custom over the last few years. It has been a pleasure hosting you.
That said, our treasured housekeeper, March Out Cleaning who really cared about your holiday experience and took pride in making your holiday home beautiful, grew her core cleaning business to a point where she could no longer support holiday lets.
After a short period of time relying on a national holiday agent to fully manage the property, it became clear that the standards of cleaning and maintenance were below the standards we wanted to deliver. Customers were highlighting issues that they shouldn't have had to raise and in spite of raising these issues with the agent, standards were not improving.
So, we have pulled the plug.
You may have noticed that the property has been unavailable to book for quite some time and we apologise to the guests whose bookings we had to reorganise due to the impending sale of the house.
So again, before closing this page down when the sale completes, all that remains to be said is we are so glad Alnwick Cottage has created many happy memories and a big thank you from us for your custom and support.
