Angel of the North and winter star formation.

The Winter Triangle and the Angel of the North

I took lots of photos in the early hours of this morning hoping to catch some meteors.

Here's a photo of The Angel of the North with a famous winter pattern of stars called the Winter Triangle

Bright star on the left is called PROCYON the bright one just above the Angel's wing - SIRIUS and above the Angel's head the orange looking one - BETELGEUSE

See if you can spot the winter triangle over the coming weeks and months.

Please leave this Walrus alone and let it rest.

We are aware of the reports of a walrus in the local area, and would urge people to please give it as much space and rest as possible.
This animal is out of it's normal area & will need to rest and build it's strength back up.
The RSPCA and bdmlr are aware.
Please, please follow safe Wildlife distancing for this animal to make sure it stays safe.
