Some of our walkers this week setting off on their Northumberland Coastal Walk.
This beautiful walk takes you from Cresswell, up the Northumberland coastal path, past several castles, to the border town of Berwick upon Tweed.

It’s the first day of spring and we’re welcoming our first overseas walker of the season.

Julie, who normally winters in the sunnier climate of Australia, has flown in via Germany to walk our fantastic St Cuthberts Way walk.

We managed to capture his shot of her, in full plumage, at her overnight hostelry in the lovely town of Melrose in the Scottish Borders.

We’re expecting to see a lot more of this breed and other variants over the coming months.

Anyone fancy walking St Cuthberts Way in sections over the next few weeks?

We’re going to be walking over the
first section of St Cuthberts Way from Melrose to Dryburgh Abbey then back along the Border Abbeys Way on Friday 2nd Feb 24

Just over 10 miles, bit of a hill to start, then pretty much flat.

8 seater minibus departing Amble at 8am, can pick up on the way if required, Alnwick, Wooler etc.
