This little lady arrived early this morning, before the rain set in. Fortunately mum was a bottle reared lamb so very easy to move into the barn to beat that rain!
Walking over the field to take some fencing down, it becomes clear the sheep and lambs have forgotten that I fed them 3 hours ago! Two lovely families are staying this week and have enjoyed seeing what the lambs get up to!
Sunset View Cottage interior. A lovely single storey property with views over open fields.

The vintage steam convoy as it passed along Ramsey harbour this morning on route to Jurby. Wonderful sight.

#manxcat This is Emma, a very shy little Manx Cat. The length of tail varies from nothing through to this half tail. We also have two of Emma's daughters who just have much shorter stumpy tails.
This was taken a little bit late tonight but the light and stillness of the early evening were lovely.
The E2E race is on today - this is the 'elite rider' first group at the top of the Lhen Hill - about 7m into the route. Thanks to all the Marshalls who enable the race to take place. UPDATE - congratulations to Ben Thomas (Mountain Trax Vauxhall Motors Cycling Team) who has won the event for a third consecutive time!! Fellow rider Scott McCarron finished a fantastic 25th.
It's easy to disturb a heron on our pond but difficult to capture the moment. This one has made multiple visits today - there were two on the lawn yesterday, which is unusual, so hoping nothing is wrong. No sign of the second, smaller bird today.
Looking across the Sound towards the Calf of Man, outside the wonderful cafe with panoramic views run by Manx National Heritage.
The Ramsey Swing Bridge in action this morning. Great Victorian engineering, still in full working order.
Breezy tonight - this is what it looks like running through a hay crop.
