Electric car friendly 🔌

Here at the Romney Marsh farm, we are incredibly passionate about sustainability and try to be as eco-friendly as we can. We also understand that many of our customers feel the same way, which is why we have added an electric car charger to our parking area 🚘

So, if you have an electric car - there’s no need to worry about running out of charge during your stay, even on our remote farm. Simply park up, plug in and charge whilst you relax and enjoy the surroundings 🍃

Our shepherds huts almost feel too luxurious to be referred to as “glamping”… in fact, you could comfortably live in our huts. How, you ask?

Well, here’s what you can expect to find inside each shepherds hut 👇

• A full double bed, with luxurious wool duvets and throws (an additional bunk bed in the Romney!) 🛌

• A full kitchenette for cooking, including a small fridge, hob, butler sink, along with plenty of cooking essentials and accessories 🍳

• A private, en-suite bathroom with a hot running shower, toilet and porcelain sink 🚿

• A wood burner, to keep it cosy all year round 🔥

• Plug points, electricity, and an additional oil heater in the winter months ❄️

• Plenty of hidden storage space underneath the beds and in the cupboards 🧳

We believe that our huts are proof that you can get back the nature, in luxury 🍃

Good morning from our friendly neighbours 👋

Our huts are located on our working farm - which means you may be lucky enough to be greeted by one of our friendly animals in the morning during your stay here.

The huts are fenced off, but set inside real sheep pastures, so you’re likely to see our lovely Romney ewes whilst you’re here - in addition to a few fluffy chickens, or two!

Did you know that our huts are set within sheep pastures? 🐑

We farm over 3,000 acres across the beautiful Romney Marsh, growing crops as well as over 1,000 indigenous Romney ewes. Many of these are kept within the actual fields of our huts, making each staycation an incredibly unique experience.

Our sheep are incredibly friendly neighbours, too, so will often walk by to say hello! 👋

Wow! We had a number of new followers join us from our recent lambing reel on Instagram - so if you’re also new to our page, we thought we’d reintroduce ourselves 👇

We have three gorgeous shepherd’s huts available to book for staycations all-year-round, on our family farm in Kent.

Located just over an hour away from London, our huts are ideal for those who wish to get back to nature. And what better way to do just that, than staying within a real sheep pasture, with our Romney ewes and lambs? 🐑

The Lookerer and the Rumwold are our two original huts, which both sleep two and have en-suite private bathrooms, double beds and kitchenettes.

Our newer hut, The Romney, can sleep a small family of three or four, with the addition of a small bunk bed. It also has the added benefit of an outdoor bathtub overlooking the sunset across the marsh 🌅

There’s also plenty to see and do in Kent - including alpaca trekking, town exploring and luscious beach walks.

Spend the morning with us! 🐑

Our lambs are growing up so fast - but they’re still babies! When a mother ewe doesn’t bond with her lamb, or doesn’t have enough food, we bottle feed the lambs ourselves.

This means if you book a stay in one of our huts soon, you’ll still be able to meet and bottle-feed our little lambs ☀️
