If anyone can afford even just a couple of pounds it all makes a difference.

We woke up this morning to literally hundreds of new donations to our crowd funder with the majority coming from members of SWWG - Scottish Women’s Walking Group, who seem to have taken it upon themselves to try to fund the remainder of our extension by donating a few pounds each. Thank you so much ladies, this support means so much to us.

Emergency closure of Glen Etive Road from Mon 18 Mar - 22 Mar. 24 Closure will be daily 8am & 4pm with a road opening amnesty for vehicle movement between 1 & 1.30pm. Closure to repair collapsed culverts. Emergency services, resident & school transport access at all times

Could you live & breathe Glencoe this year?

📣 We are recruiting two SEASONAL VOLUNTEER RANGER placements with FREE accommodation in Glencoe, National Nature Reserve 🏡

In return for your time and energy, you'll get to:

🏔 Stay with us between April and October in a truly unique location in the Glen (all bills included)

🌳 Gain practical skills, training and valuable experience in countryside management and nature conservation at one of Scotland's most iconic nature reserves

🎇 Share your passion for the outdoors with visitors from across the globe and local community groups

No prior experience is required but a strong willingness to learn, ability to work independently and a valid driver's license is a must.

There is also a chance to take on a part-time paid role in our visitor centre to help fund your time with us.
