Seems like somethings never change. However, we have. But then again, maybe not so much.
We have adjusted our pricing across all properties. The vast majority of stays are less now, with stays of a week or more back at the prices we opened with in 2009!
Like every other business, we are doing all we can to navigate this challenging time but we want to help our guests. We also want to help our local suppliers and servicing companies too.
We are trialing these new prices to see if they help.

If you have paid the deposit for your holiday and not yet taken it, and the new price is less than when you booked, your balance will be reduced. If you have paid the balance but not yet holidayed, we will refund any difference.

As restrictions lift next week we thought we would share where our heads are at.
While it is liberating to know the laws are changing, we are Northumbrian pragmatic.
We want to be kind to our guests and those of us that live and work on Budle Bay Croft.
So we are being cautious.
The following are examples of the measures we are keeping:
* Covid cleaning protocol remains.
* Antivirucide fogging remains.
* Hand sanitiser remains.
* We will continue to wear masks and gloves if we need to attend to anything for you in your accommodation during your stay - when you are out.
* We politely request you continue to observe social distance and hand washing guidance.
We still think these measures make most sense for your and our safety. And they do not impede on your holiday enjoyment too much. We will of course regularly review.

Had a lovely trip to the Farne Islands, Northumberland today with Serenity Boats. Jimmy was really helpful and skipper Toby was a font of all knowledge and managed to find the dolphins! We also saw puffins, turns, shags, cormorants and of course the gorgeous seals. Interesting to see another view of Bamburgh Castle too. Plus, we took our pooches with us!
