The Art Cottage is a beautiful two bedroomed holiday let, sleeping 5 in the idyllic village of Wellow, just 5 miles from the Heritage City of Bath.

What a charming review today

"We spent a lovely week at the Art Cottage. Wellow is a very peaceful little village with a friendly gastro pub. The cottage is very comfortable and a great base for visiting Bath, Stonehenge, Cheddar Gorge etc. The park and ride into Bath is just a few minutes away. The cottage was a lovely place to return to after a days exploring. It has a great hot shower and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in!"

What a lovely review:

Stunning views, a great local pub, The Fox and Badger, 2 seconds round the corner, great food and drink and a 15 minute drive into Bath. Friendly hosts, John and Emma were very welcoming. Emma works is beautiful and she let us look around her studio. Lots of fantastic things to see and do in Bath. In Wellow we visited a Neolithic tomb, Stoney Littleton Long Barrow, only 5 minutes drive away. The kids loved crawling into it as it has multiple burial chambers. A great little find but the drive was pretty terrifying! For train history buffs there is a disused railway line and old station at Wellow - not much evidence now apart from the impressive viaduct just east of the village.

Lovely review today

Wonderfully located and appointed cottage with beautiful artwork for us to enjoy and a beautiful wild garden. Great tv options and WiFi and a range of outside seating spaces. John and Emma are perfect hosts friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Totally recommend.
