Summer project for who are leading a project to plant and re-green 91st Street in the upper east side of . The project involves planting new trees and enlarging existing planters to make the city greener a street at a time.

Recent commission from in to celebrate 40 years the hotel has created a cycling route for their more active and sporty guests who want to enjoy some of the sights and heights of the local landscape. The map was drawn from an experience of the route on past trips to the island.

Part of a series of Floor plans just completed for Irish Castle hotel For there guest brochures to help them find their way around this historic castle in County Clare. For a long time owned by Lord Inchiquin it now owned by Irish/US investors and had a worldwide reputation as a golf and resort destination.

After posting the work I had created for tourism, a series of posters and covers, one of my ex-students sent me a page from their sketch book of the time with my work pasted in and a comment that I had given them a lecture about my work and a tutorial about their work. It’s great to see that I am remembered by at least one of my ex-students.

Anyone who loves Cornwall and understands its charm will become a complete fan of this. I thoroughly enjoyed Petroc’s gentle humour and acute observations. Plus there is so much wonderful information about Cornish life and history here —

For those who don’t know these are a set of six London taxis using a map design of London produced for The Strand Palace Hotel on the Strand in Central London. It’s amazing what you can do with a map to help promote your business just needs some creative thinking.

Definitely made the wrong choice to go to University to study art instead economics from a financial point of view. Figures from £650k over a working life that could mean the difference between a one bed flat and a four bed house, luxury holidays against a week in a caravan in Wales. BUT £650k is about 17k a year over 40 years so who would take a reduction in their salary by 17k to paint and draw all year?

Work for another 5 star hotel, this time in the New Forest with Chewton Glen. My wife’s favourite hotel especially the treehouse rooms, this map is for their beach walk taking you down a secluded tree lined path - Chewton Bunny to the fossil laden cliffs and beach house. But I can’t see a reason to leave the hotel myself.

hospitality group now have Private dining at their so they needed a map to include in their corporate dining promotion to show these locations. So a simple black and white London map with flags for each of the restaurants linked up with the simple floor plans.
