St Oswald's Way Easy Access route Warkworth...

Loved visiting St Lawrence church, walking along the river and Bertram's - food was great, step free access and bigger than you would expect inside, offering a choice of seating as well as eating outdoors.

If anyone's interested in the Easy Access routes the link's in the message below. We've found them really helpful, the parking advice for Warkworth was brilliant.

Look what arrived in the post ...

Last month my lovely hubby made sure I had some spare time to go do something completely different with one of those pals you know is going to laugh with you whatever happens.

We spent three hours with in Ford - such a fun creative space - they fire the pots and post them - double treat

We've just received this lovely gift from Nicola, who ran all the behind-the-scenes housekeeping (... and much more) when we first started up.

The Schoolhouse was purchased late 2019 and intended to open as a self-catering cottage in April 2020. We would not have managed without her hard work and enthusiasm steering us through the complexities of the COVID pandemic.

Thank you - we love this gift and thank you it's absolutely fab 😎👍🏽😎

A slightly unusual mid week shout out ...

We have a compost bin. We've had it for sometime now and the composting is looking great. We do know this will not be every guests delight while they're on holiday 😆 but if it's yours, please do use it.

It loves uncooked fruit and vegetable scraps and coffee grounds and all those scrunched up lists of unfinished tasks from home 🤔 ... just pop them in and aerate with a quick twist around with the fork.

1 Put the crash mat under the giant bean bags - they'll stop slipping around the floor

2 The changing bench head rest does lift up slightly - you can now book a set of 3 beach towels, super useful for additional head support
