Appledore - tea and cake at Market Street Kitchen and hanging out with my gorgeous friend, on a sunny Thursday morning 💛
I love Appledore, celebrated for its artists, crafts people and the Appledore Book Festival 🙌🏻
It was such a treat to wonder around the quay, stroll through the narrow, winding streets and stumble across little gems such as ‘The Market Street Kitchen’.

You HAVE to check out The Farmers Arms Woolsery only a 20 minute drive from the barn 😃 And I had my birthday lunch there today too - yey! 🎉🥂
It’s seriously gorgeous 💛 Not only is the recently renovated building and the interior design totally fabulous, the team who work there are SO welcoming and friendly, that we could have quite happily moved in ha ha.
Our snacks and lunch were totally yummy and I can’t wait to check out their evening menu!

Coffee ☕️
After a blustery walk on Instow Beach this morning, my friend and I (and her dog ‘Pixie’), headed into the newly refurbished ‘The Boathouse’ which is right on the sea front of Instow - with fabulous views over the estuary and Appledore, what more could you possibly want? 😃
I need to come back here to sample their menu! 💛

New cushion for our house 💛
I LOVE home interiors and accessories and I can’t say no to a cushion 😍
I needed (I mean ‘we’ needed 😄) some extra cushions for the sofa, just to finish it off. And I hope you agree, this new addition looks pretty good 👍🏻
Now, it’s whether the husband will notice it?! 🙈🙈

We are so lucky to have the best guests staying at The Little Devon Barn ⭐️

It was such a beautiful day here today. The sun was shining and there was hardly a breeze. Colours look much more vibrant in this weather ☀️👍🏻

Yes, it actually is 🙌🏻 17-25 March.

The English tourism sector touches everyone - visitors, residents, businesses and employees. It’s the country’s third largest employer! 😮

So we want to give a HUGE shout out to ‘The Little Devon Barn’ in Devon - yey! It’s a family run venture, with me (Tab) taking the helm accompanied by my ship mate, Ben (the husband) and our two lil’ pirates, Tom and Max 😍

We’re a short distance from the coast, to take advantage of the sandy beaches and stunning scenery of North Devon 🌊

Yey! The sun is shining and the deers are out 😊 Well, our deers are out. The best time to see red deer is in autumn, where they’re often active during the daytime. It’s possible to see red deer almost anywhere in Devon. The most significant herds are concentrated upon Exmoor and towards Tiverton and South Molton.

I guess we’ll have to take down and pack away the Christmas decs this weekend 😭
They make the house look so cosy and twinkly but I also wouldn’t mind clearing away the bits so I can actually have some space and also not to have my eye poked out by a branch everytime I turn the Christmas tree lights on or off! 😆
