Heron’s Lea, built in 1924, is a large detached home situated in three acres of beautifully tended gardens and lawn areas. In 1994 we opened as a care home for the older person and with sympathetic and careful thought has been gradually extended to accommodate 20 residents. Family and friends are encouraged to visit a

t any reasonable time of day/evening and invited to stay for a coffee or cup of tea in the comfortable lounges, conservatory or patio depending on the time of year. We are only one mile from the beautiful beach at Westward Ho!, two miles from the port town of Bideford and ten miles from the market town of Barnstaple.
