We have two types of Cabin. Our Family Cabins sleep up to 4 people in a Kingsize bed and bunk beds. Our Couples Cabins sleep up to 2 adults and 2 small children with a Kingsize bed and a small sofa bed. So you could even let them have a sleepover in Grandmas cabin for the night!

Welcombe Mouth (Family Cabin) and Hartland Quay (Couples Cabin) are directly next door to each other so would be a perfect choice when holidaying with grandparents.

**ALL THE BEACHES**

Earlier this week I asked on our stories what is everyone looking forward to the most when they can eventually make it down to Devon. Hands down the most popular answer was GO TO THE BEACH!!

We’re really lucky here . The stunning South West Coast Path is just a mile and a half from our doorstep. There is literally hundreds (630 to be exact) of miles of stunning coastal scenic walks.

There are tonnes of secluded coves within just a few miles of our cabins. Infact all of our cabins are named after them! Berry Bay, Blackpool Mill, Duckpool to name just a few. They are tricky to find, but once you do you’ll be the only ones there.

Alternatively the nearest easy to access beach is Hartland Quay. Just 2 and a half miles from your door you’ll find one of the most breathtaking views i’ve ever seen. There also a car park, facilities, small shop and the best bit - a pub!

Travel a bit further afield and within a 20-30min drive you’ll find wide expanses of sand. The National Trust beach of Sandy Mouth is the closest and boasts over a mile of golden sands together with a fab beach cafe.

Other great finds include Summerleaze, Crooklets and Widemouth in Bude. Or drive North up the Atlantic Highway to find Westward Ho! and Instow. Up a bit further and you’ll stumble across Saunton, Croyde, Woolacoombe, Putsborough. The list goes on!

**CREAM FIRST - ALWAYS**

It’s a controversial topic that people in the south west can get very hot under the collar about. The ‘Jam First/Cream First’ debate is one that will always live on! Personally I’d go for cream, then jam, then a bit more cream. You can never have too much clotted cream 😂

We went out for lunch yesterday and this was the only thing on the menu that my eldest would eat 😂

This may not look like a very exciting picture, but it’s SUPER exciting for us 🥳

We are very proud to announce that we have been awarded 4* GOLD from Quality in Tourism! This is the largest accreditation body in the UK working in travel, tourism and hospitality….so they know what they are taking about 😆

They summarised our business as follows...

Ok so it isn’t always lazy beach days here in North Devon. Don’t tell everyone but sometimes it rains…

This is the perfect place to get any much needed wet weather gear from or . Kids will love the craft supplies in and my daughters are obsessed with ! , Sketchers, and are a few of the other big name stores - all with bargain outlet prices.

Grab a traditional Devon pasty cafe and then head up to soft play for the kids to let off some steam.

**BEACH TIME**
