The Holiday Let is now ready for the flooring to be done. 😍
I thoroughly enjoyed digging out 9 inches of Hardcore to get 8 x 2 Joists in with a 6 inch air gap. 🤥😜

Happy St David’s day and welcome to the first day of Spring. We are so excited, 2024 is going to be a big year at The Lodges, our holiday let is progressing well. More pictures to come as the floor is going in next week

Hey everyone, we hope you are all well?

Sonia and I have listened to your comments, messages and calls over the past week and we are very grateful for all the help/advice you are giving us before we are open later this year.

We have made two decisions:

1. We have purchased a Zero Water filter system.

2. A Tailor made stay.

We can’t promise you no rain, but we can make sure you have everything in the lodge you enjoy.
When you book our lodge, you will receive a personal welcome email. One part of the e mail will be for you to let us know what brands of tea, coffee etc you would like for your stay. (I personally would be writing down Poppets Orangey Hot chocolate 😉)

We want all our visitors to have a wonderful time and your stay feeling like a home from home.

Any other ideas/suggestions you may have, just let us know as we want to listen to what our customers want.

Hey everyone, we hope that you are all well?

We need your advice again please:

We have chosen an L shaped kitchen but with the Dining room, we are undecided. The two options are:

A. Normal dining room table.

B. A Breakfast Bar/Island with high stools and a bistro table that can be used inside and out. (Kept outside on the patio)

Sadly we lost our beautiful baby hen Penelope (Penny) last night. She became sick, went downhill quickly, and she passed away in the house with us 🥲

She was a beautiful little soul, so kind and loving. She has taught us how adorable hens are to keep. Going to miss her pretty little presence around the garden so much.
Fortunately our other lovely ladies are safe and well. Sweet dreams and RIP Penny. A massive loss to our Lodges family. 🥲🥲🐓🐓###
