Burns Night 2021
“Some hae meat and canna eat, and some wad eat that want it; But we hae meat and we can eat, Sae let the Lord be thankit.” – Robert Burns, 1786.
Are you a whisky fan?
Do you like poetry?
Do you enjoy many Scottish traditions?
If you have answered yes to each of these questions- then tonight’s the night for you!
Burns Night takes place every 25th January in celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet. Robert Burns was born on the 25th January 1759 and is the author of the World’s most sung song; Auld Lang Syne.
Yes, this legend was indeed 20 years old (for those eagle-eyed followers) when Bowmore Distillery was established. Makes you wonder if he ever did enjoy a dram or two of Bowmore in his life? 🥃
Burns Night is an evening full of stories, poetry, song, good whisky and good food.
Since most people are at home for this years Robert Burn’s evening, we thought we would bring the celebrations to you.

Snow at Finlaggan ❄️
We have to join in with all of these beautiful snow posts! 😍☃️
Here's Loch Finlaggan, today. Definitely a peaceful setting whatever the weather.
We're taking a moment to appreciate how lucky we've been weather wise, these past 12 months; a glorious Summer ☀️, wet wintry days ⛈️ and now real snow ❄️. #Blessed
